All food prices are up….but not fast food. Anyone know why?

For Dems out there…..Obama or Clinton?

I also haven’t eaten crab at the crabfest.  Unfortunately my body reacts less than pleasantly when I eat crab.  I will be volunteering all day on Saturday at the festival and would encourage anyone that has a few hours available this weekend, to contact the chamber and offer to help out.

4) It’s because you can only charge so much for low-grade Argentinian poop-laden “Beef”
5) Generally, I would do the exact opposite of anything the county commission does, so I would say...."election"

and to the Auntie comment - who cares?  She was so “done”

RE: food prices.

Watched part of the Glen Beck show last night, and they were talking about this.  Besides more farm land being used for fuel, there’s a drought in a (I believe) Australia and Pakistan, and some kind of wheat blight in Africa.  There’s the possibility the wheat blight could come to America, and destroy over 3/4 of our wheat.

Some Costco stores in America are rationing rice and wheat, based on your prior purchases.  The reasoning is (supposedly) to prevent bakeries from buying all the flour, because it’s getting so expensive from their normal suppliers.

Yet, we’re still paying farmers NOT to produce.  I’ve already written my Congresscritters about such stupidity.

As to why fast food prices haven’t gone up ... perhaps massive buying power?
