THE LIFEBOAT SHOW presents the third in series
Monday JUNE 16 at 9:30 am and 8:30 pm THE LIFEBOAT SHOW presents the third in our series,
“Local Leaders” featuring local people who are living and working in ways that heal the Earth — and us.
Monday’s show features Ginger Salkowski of Manzanita talking about her new sustainable homestead, the farmer’s market she helped found, and current work on a Village Repair effort. Our second guest will be Jon Lingel of Astoria who telecommutes from his home office which is powered by a tiny wind turbine on the roof! Jon relates some of his experimenting over the past 30 years with renewable energy.
All summer we’ll be presenting Local Leaders sharing their stories, as well as occasional visits from The Lifeboat Players or IDGI (I Don’t Get It) News. Be sure to join us for facts and fun!
July 21st: Doug Ray (Sustainable House), Sasha Raichl (Sustainable Workplace)
August 18th: Tom Bender, Lane De Moll (Sustainable Life), Janet Weidman (Personal Choices)
Thank you to all our amazing guests — people making sustainable choices and living to tell about it!!
And, thank you to all of you who’ve called or emailed or otherwise told us about more people we should be interviewing. Looks like we’re getting a great lineup for this fall as well.
Join us this Monday and all 3rd Mondays, at 9:30 am on KMUN 91.9 fm, KTCB 89.5 fm and http://www.coastradio.org If you miss the morning show and live in the Warrenton area, you can catch it again in the evening at 8:30 pm on KCPB 90.9 fm.
CDs of all Lifeboat shows are available for a small, $5 donation (plus shipping charges, if we need to mail them.) Email us for a list of all past shows. Over 20 of our 37 shows are archived at http://www.globalpublicmedia.com
The Lifeboat Show is produced by Titanic Lifeboat Academy, a 501c3 Oregon nonprofit engaging in research and education about sustainable living. Donations are both tax deductible and definitely appreciated.
