Call for applicants for CCC board vacancy

The Board of Directors of Clatsop Community College is seeking applicants to fill a board vacancy for Zone 2 which includes Astoria #1C School District, and precincts 1-8, 29, 31, 36 and 46. The position is vacated by Karen Mellin who represented Zone 2. Those applying must be a registered voter residing within Zone 2. Interested community members should submit an introductory letter outlining reasons for their interest in board service and a brief resume of relevant experience. Letters must be submitted to the President’s Office, Clatsop Community College, 1653 Jerome Avenue, Astoria, OR 97103 by close of business Monday, August 4th. Candidates will be interviewed by the College Board.
