Ryan Walsh ~ An Evening of Classical & Spanish Guitar Music

Ryan Walsh was first inspired to pick up a guitar by Jazz and Rock artists such as Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton, on Sunday, July 27, 7:00 pm, at Clatsop College’s Performing Arts Center Ryan will share his passion for the Classical and Spanish traditions.

Liberty Theater hosts Missoula Children’s Theater Summer Day Camp

July 21-26 Summer Day Camp – Missoula Children’s Theater, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Open Community Auditions 10 am Monday July 21 parts being cast for children entering first through 12 grade. Rehearsals for major parts that day. Rehearsals and workshops to follow all week. Performances on Saturday, July 26 at 3 pm and 7 pm. All tickets $5. There will be a fee charged for workshop participation. MCT Day Camps are a rehearsal process that culminates in weekend performances of an original Missoula Children’s Theatre musical. Your child will participate in a group audition, be cast in a role, rehearse and perform in the show. Astoria Police Respond to Shots Fired

Astoria, Or. On 071208 at 1025 Astoria Regional Dispatch center received several reports of shots fired in the area of 17th and Irving. One caller specified the address of 1695 Irving and named a suspect, Jimy Owens White (Age 60, 1695 Irving Ave., Astoria OR 97103) saying they had seen him fire a rifle into the air. Officers surrounded the residence and called the house having White and another occupant, Eric A Beal (Age 62, 285 Alpine St., Seaside OR), exit the house. Both were arrested initially on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Reckless Endangering. After interviewing witnesses it was discovered that the person who actually shot the firearm was Beal. White was present at the time.
