Talking Tombstones is an annual event put on by the Clatsop County Historical Society.

The deceased will appear again at Greenwood Cemetery from 1:00 pm until dusk. Tour the graveyard and along the way you will meet colorful characters in costume talking about their character’s role in history. Talking Tombstones takes place on Sunday, October 28th – a hugely popular annual event presented by Clatsop County Historical Society.

This year’s event is once again sponsored by Astoria Granite Works. Guests will be introduced to colorful characters from Clatsop County’s past who will come alive to tell their tales at the Greenwood Cemetery on Hwy 202.   1. This year, 2012, Talking Tombstones is at Greenwood Cemetery, about 1 1/2 miles south of the fairgrounds. It’s not at Ocean View in Warrenton. Greenwood!
