Steve Ferber, president and CEO of Clatsop Community Bank, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Independent Community Banks of Oregon (ICBO). His term of service is four years.
The Independent Community Banks of Oregon is an association representing the interests of banks headquartered in the state. ICBO works in partnership with the Oregon Bankers Association, with a collective mission “to be the voice of the Oregon banking industry.”

“I look forward to serving on the ICBO board, and representing independent bankers in Oregon,” Ferber said. “This network is invaluable for exchanging ideas and identifying solutions to challenges we all share,” he said.

Ferber has worked in commercial banking since 1982, and founded Clatsop Community Bank in Seaside, Oregon in 2008. It is the only bank locally owned in Clatsop County, and has branches in Seaside and Astoria. It was recently named among the “100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon” for 2012 by Oregon Business.
